Choose this family when one through-feed system must remove ordinary burrs, create controlled edge radiusing and produce a specified brushed, polished or refined surface. Heavy-slag removal is outside the normal R/S/W route and requires evaluation of a C function.
Step 1 · Process Route
RSW identifies the deburring, edge-rounding and surface-finishing family. Each common model code records the planned station sequence from left to right—for example, RRSW and RSRW contain the same station quantities but follow different process routes. The final delivered arrangement is confirmed in the approved technical proposal.

A representative R-S-R-W route separates initial deburring from secondary surface refinement before the final W process.
If brushing and polishing are both required as independent controlled steps, two W stations are evaluated instead of assigning both results to one roller.

Step 2 · Define Each Result
Removes ordinary cutting burrs, oxide or surface residue with a selected abrasive-belt sequence. It is not a substitute for dedicated heavy-slag removal.
Rotary roller brush tooling treats suitable internal and external edges to achieve an agreed radius condition. S is edge rounding, not a fixed beveling operation.
A selected brushing or polishing roller produces the agreed directional, visual or measurable surface result. Roller choice requires sample confirmation.
Step 3 · Surface Target
Define the grain direction, acceptable visual variation, reference sample and whether the finish is functional or decorative.
Define the target appearance or measurable roughness requirement. A mirror finish is not assumed without representative sample testing.
R abrasive sequence, S brush specification, W roller construction, settings and number of passes are selected from the actual material and acceptance standard.
Step 4 · Workpiece Size
Use the maximum workpiece dimension across the conveyor after considering part orientation, surface-grain direction and loading flow. Every listed width is supplied according to project confirmation; it is not a promise of stock availability.
The working width is a processing parameter. It is not the same as the machine's overall width or total conveyor-platform dimensions. Final dimensions are stated in the approved technical proposal.
Step 5 · Workpiece Holding
Considered for suitable non-magnetic materials, small parts or thin sheets. Openings, contact area, flatness and the combined R/S/W process load must be reviewed.
Used for suitable ferromagnetic steel workpieces. Actual holding depends on material response, contact area, thickness and process load.
A half-magnetic, half-vacuum platform available by project for mixed-material or frequently changing workpiece requirements.
