Choose this family when the main requirement is burr removal, oxide-layer reduction or controlled surface grinding with sanding belts. Edge rounding requires an S station, heavy-slag removal requires a C station, and brushing or polishing requires a W station.

R-Series Selection Questions

What does R mean in a Qintellim machine code?

R means a deburring station using a sanding belt consumable. Repeated R letters in an internal configuration code indicate repeated R stations.

When should a buyer choose RR instead of a single R?

RR allows the process to be separated into two independently controlled sanding-belt steps, such as primary burr removal followed by secondary grinding or surface preparation. Sample testing determines whether the second stage adds value for the workpiece.

Does an R-Series machine provide edge rounding?

Not by the R station alone. Controlled edge rounding uses an S station with rotary roller brushes. Select an RS-family configuration when both sanding-belt deburring and edge rounding are required.

Can the R station remove heavy slag?

The R station is intended for burr removal, oxide-layer reduction and surface grinding with sanding belts. Heavy-slag removal should be evaluated with a C station and its dedicated tooling.

Can every material use a magnetic conveyor?

No. M is intended for suitable ferromagnetic parts. Non-magnetic materials normally require vacuum holding, while A-M provides combined magnetic and vacuum areas for mixed production.

Are the 450–1600 mm machines always in stock?

No. The listed working widths are available by project. Production configuration and delivery are confirmed after the workpiece, process and order requirements are reviewed.

Why is there no single power value for the whole series?

Installed power changes with working width, station quantity, conveyor platform, control system and auxiliary equipment. The approved value is stated in the technical proposal and on the machine nameplate.
