Sheet Metal Applications
Laser-cut and punched sheet metal parts may be burr-free but still have sharp edges. An S edge-rounding station uses rotary roller brush tooling to create a smoother radius on suitable external contours and accessible holes or slots. The required edge result must come from the drawing or downstream process and be confirmed by sample testing.
Edge rounding changes the mechanical edge geometry. It does not replace cleaning, chemical pretreatment, grounding, coating application, curing or final coating validation.
Step 1 · Edge-Rounding Stages
S and SS are the common one- and two-station model codes. Additional S stations can be configured by project to separate edge-rounding steps or use different rotary roller brush specifications, but SSS is not presented as a fixed standard model. Brush type, height or pressure setting and process route are determined by sample testing.

Step 2 · Workpiece Size
Use the maximum workpiece dimension across the conveyor after considering orientation, edge access and loading direction. Every listed width is supplied according to project confirmation; it is not a promise of stock availability.
The working width is a processing parameter. It is not the same as the machine's overall width or total conveyor-platform dimensions. Final dimensions are stated in the approved technical proposal.
Step 3 · Workpiece Holding
Considered for non-magnetic materials, small parts or thin sheets. Openings, surface contact area, flatness and brush load must be reviewed.
Used for suitable ferromagnetic steel workpieces. Actual holding depends on material response, contact area, thickness and process load.
A half-magnetic, half-vacuum platform for workshops processing mixed materials or frequently changing workpiece requirements.
