Direct answer: Qintellim RW-Series machines combine one or more R deburring stations using sanding belt consumables with one or more W surface-finishing stations using a selected brushing or polishing roller. Station quantity and arrangement, project-based working width, conveyor platform, abrasive sequence, W-roller type, control system, dust collection and electrical data are confirmed from the workpiece and sample testing.

Choose this family when the same through-feed process must remove ordinary burrs or surface residue and then produce a controlled brushed, polished or refined surface. Edge rounding requires an S function, while heavy-slag removal requires a C function.

Step 1 · Process Route

Choose the R/W Arrangement from Burr Severity and the Final Surface Requirement

RW identifies the deburring and surface-finishing family. Each common model code records the planned station sequence from left to right. RWW and RRWW provide two W stages when brushing and polishing are required as separate controlled processes. The final delivered arrangement is confirmed in the approved technical proposal.

RW-Series Selection Questions

What do R and W mean in a Qintellim RW configuration?

R means a deburring station using a sanding belt consumable. W means a surface-finishing station using a selected brushing or polishing roller.

What is the difference between RW and RRW?

RW uses one R and one W stage in its representative route. RRW adds a second independently controlled R stage so primary burr removal and secondary grinding or finish preparation can be separated before W processing.

How should I read RWW and RRWW?

RWW means one R station followed by two W stations. RRWW means two R stations followed by two W stations. Two W stages allow brushing and polishing to be configured as separate controlled processes; roller selection and sequence are confirmed by sample testing.

Can the RW-Series create edge rounding?

Not through the R and W functions alone. Controlled edge rounding requires an S station using rotary roller brush tooling.

Can the RW-Series remove heavy slag?

Not as the normal R/W process. Heavy-slag removal requires evaluation of a C station with dedicated alloy-hammer tooling.

Can Qintellim guarantee a mirror finish or fixed roughness for the whole series?

No. Material, incoming surface, abrasive sequence, roller, process setting and acceptance method all affect the result. A representative sample and agreed inspection standard are required.

Are the 450–1600 mm machines always in stock?

No. The listed working widths are available by project. Production configuration and delivery are confirmed after the workpiece, process and order requirements are reviewed.

Why is there no fixed power or speed for the whole series?

Installed power and process settings change with working width, station quantity, roller, conveyor platform, control system and auxiliary equipment. Approved values are stated in the technical proposal and on the machine nameplate.
