How to Read a Configuration
The letters are read from the machine inlet to the outlet. For example, an R-S configuration means deburring first, followed by edge rounding. A C-R-S-R configuration means heavy slag removal first, then Deburring, edge rounding and final deburring or surface refinement.

Choosing the Right Station Combination
Machine selection should start from the workpiece problem, not from the model name alone. Heavy slag usually requires a C station with alloy hammers before deburring. Sharp edges that need a radius require an S edge rounding station with rotary roller brushes. Visible stainless steel or aluminum surfaces may require W brushing or polishing. Ferrous parts that can be magnetically held may use M magnetic adsorption, while aluminum, stainless steel or lightweight parts often need A vacuum adsorption. Mixed materials can use an A-M combined platform.
